My name is Angel Foreman, and I am the founder of Prevail Medical Billing & Coding, a professional billing and coding service based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. My path to this work was not a straight line, and I would not have it any other way. Life handed me more than a few obstacles before I found my direction, but I made a decision about five years ago to invest in myself and build something real. That decision changed everything. I threw myself into the world of healthcare administration — earning certifications, gaining hands-on experience, and developing skills that I am proud to bring to every client I serve. The name "Prevail" is not just a business name. It is a reflection of who I am and the standard I hold myself to every single day.

Over the past several years, I have earned my Certified Electronic Health Record Specialist credential from BRCC and my Certified Medical Billing and Coding Specialist certification from Fortis College. I am currently completing my associate's degree in healthcare administration at Ultimate Medical Academy, where I have earned a place on the Dean's List and am a proud member of the Alpha Beta Kappa Honor Society. My education has equipped me with a deep understanding of HCPCS Level I and II coding, revenue cycle management, insurance verification, HIPAA compliance, and electronic health records — the full toolkit needed to manage your billing with confidence.

Beyond the classroom, I have built real-world experience that gives me a practical edge. As a Medical Transportation Dispatcher, I managed multi-state scheduling and billing documentation, verified insurance eligibility, and applied CPT and HCPCS codes to ensure accurate claim submission. During my time as an Administrative Coordinator, I handled HIPAA-compliant patient records, insurance verification, and benefits documentation under strict regulatory standards.
